Five Traits of a Christ-Follower {Review}
I found the book Five Traits of a Christ-Follower, interesting to read and was a way to get conversations started with my study group. It would make a nice group devo book. Great springboard to diving deeper into scriptures.
This is a daily devotional book based on what makes you, what distinguishes you as a follower of Christ. There are 30 contributors to this book and each contributor has written a short, two page devotional based on a Bible passage.
Each daily devotional is divided into five sections or traits; growing in relationship with God, knowing and living from the Scriptures, engaging those who don’t know Christ, living in community with other believers, and equipping others to follow Christ. Each devotional is short enough to be used for a daily study.
The editor says in the introduction that “The true test of life in Christ is our character, the extent to which we are a reflection of the Spirit of God to a watching world.”
Foreword by Jerry Bridges. Contributors from The Navigators and friends include Jen Hatmaker, Len Sweet, Jane Kirkpatrick, and others.
This book, Five Traits of a Christ-Follower is available on Amazon as well as on B&N and other Christian book stores.
