The Butterfly Palace in Branson, MO #ExploreBranson
*I received a complimentary ticket to The Butterfly Palace in Branson, MO to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100% honest and my own.
Amid the hustle and noise, we found a place of quiet. The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure was an awesome tropical experience.
Yes it is wonderful that it is an interactive and educational spot to take our crew. But more than that, it is well… a quiet garden in the middle of downtown.
I was fascinated by the different colors and sizes of the butterflies. I was more surprised when they started landing on me! My bright red shirt must be a color they see because they were all around me.
As I sat in the “butterfly” chair relaxing, it was just peaceful. I watched the butterflies flitter around, pausing here or there just taking everything in. They have their own community and it wasn’t long before you could see which were the dominate breeds and which were the ones that hung back and waited on the food and treats offered by the care givers.
This location has a ton of things that the entire family can do together. Make sure you visit each of the areas as they are unique and add to your experience and education.
- Exotic Butterfly Aviary
- Living Rainforest Science Center
- Rainforest Theater
- Emerald Forest Mirror Maze
- Banyan Tree Bungee Adventure
And of course the Base Camp Gift Shop that has décor items, clothing, jewelry and a huge selection of other butterfly decorated products.
If your travel plans bring you to Branson make sure to plan on spending several hours among the butterflies at The Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure. Before you arrive, print out their study guides and fun fact sheets.
I would like to thank the Branson Convention and Visitors Bureau, US Family Guide, and all the participating merchants for this trip. It was an amazing trip!

It took me years to be comfortable with going inside of a butterfly anything. We have small butterfly exhibits here in Chicago – one at a zoo, and one at a nature museum, and I’m JUST now able to go in. They look so pretty though! I’m glad that you had a great time, and I guess when I go back, I’ll be visiting the Butterfly Palace too!
