Apple Cinnamon Spiced Cider
You know the chill is in the air when Apple Cinnamon Spiced Cider starts showing up at fairs and festivals. This is one of those drinks that just warm your heart and body. It is also a great recipe to use on the stove top or in a slow cooker. Here is our favorite version of Apple Cinnamon Spiced Cider.
Ingredients:
4 apple cinnamon spiced tea bags
5 cloves
1 cup orange juice
4 cups apple cider
Directions:
Pour the orange juice and apple cider into a medium sauce pan.
Add the tea bags and cloves to the mixture.
Cook the mixture for 12 minutes over medium heat.
Remove the tea bags and cloves.
Serve hot or iced.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick, slices of lemon, honey or sugar cubes.
This is great in a slow cooker too. Just make as above and let simmer. If the flavor gets too strong, dilute with a little orange juice.

This looks delicious. 🙂 It’d be great for Thanksgiving this week.
Boy this recipe reminds me of home. Where I live they don’t have decent apple cider. I will have to try this recipe it may help make it better.
This sounds wonderful – especially on a cold November night!
