Baked Brie Pockets
If you like hot salty sweet treats, this is one for you to try at home. The type of preserves doesn’t matter so make them from what you have on hand. This is one of the easiest “fancy” dessert you can make!
Baked Brie Pockets
Ingredients:
1 wheel Brie, sliced into 2″ pieces
1 tube (8 ct.) crescent rolls
1/4 cup preserves (your choice)
Directions:
Unroll your crescent rolls
Combine 2 pieces so you have a rectangle (press seams to seal)
Slice triangle in half (you will have 2 squares)
Place a square of dough on plate, add brie and a spoonful of preserves in the middle
Fold over the dough and crimp (press around the edge with a fork) making sure to seal the edges well (or it will leak – which is ok but messy)
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes, until the tops are golden brown
** You can make these without the preserves. The preserves just add a sweetness that goes well with the brie cheese.
