Ohuhu® RC Explorers Quad Copter with Camera
This Explorers Quad Copter by Ohuhu definitely has a vertical learning curve. The directions are more than a little confusing BUT once you get it set up and take the time to learn to fly it..IT ROCKS!
Some of the issues we had at first:
– Blade cards don’t seem to provide clearance – BUT there are little screws in the packaging that need to be used and adjusted to flex the blade guards in place and then they work and do a good job of protecting the blades in crashes.
– Battery is hard to get in and out of the unit – and the tiny plug is difficult to get snapped in (at least with my fat fingers)
Once the issues were worked out, learning to fly this bad boy was a hoot! Yes it crashed again and again as we learned to work the remote (man is THAT thing sensitive). Thankfully we kept the copter flying low until we got a feel for it.
I would say it took about an hour of practice time before I felt comfortable taking it above tree level.
The lights flashing are cool and the camera feature is neat. I am still learning to use this copter but already know that there will be others under the tree this Christmas for my crew.
The quad as built-in 6 axis gyro for precise positioning and hovering. The 4 channel design provides a more stable, flexible and rapid response time.
With care this quad can be flown inside but it is made to rip through the sky flying high! IT is easy to control (ONCE you take the time to learn how sensitive it is).

If you are looking for a quad copter, I would recommend this copter with the understanding that it does take time to learn to use. I wouldn’t say it was an out of the box – easy to fly – can’t break it..machine. It is durable but still delicate. At the price point, it is a nice quad copter with a lot of features.
