Peanut Butter & Nutella Cookies
What could make these Peanut Butter & Nutella cookies better? NOTHING but a large glass of cold milk!
These are a combination of crunchy and chewy all rolled into one delicious cookie.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 sticks) room temperature
⅔ cup peanut butter (your choice creamy or crunchy)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (room temperature)
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 2/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Nutella (heaping)
Directions:
~ In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth and creamy
~ Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix into the creamed mixture
~ Drop the Nutella by spoonful dollops over the top of the dough mixture
~ Using a knife or small spatula, swirl the Nutella through the dough mixture – just swirl (don’t mix it in)
~ Place the bowl of dough mixture into the refrigerator for 15 minutes to chill
~ Scoop or spoon bite size balls onto a foil or parchment lined baking sheet
~ Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees and the edges start to brown
~ Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 15 minutes before transferring to rack
Note: This makes about 3 dozen nice size cookies
Peanut butter cookies are my favorite and adding a little nutela sounds pretty good. Have a craving now for some cookies and milk.
I bake these and leave 6 out, one for each of us (and an extra for the baker), the rest go into the freezer in 6 count bags. Even reheating them makes the house smell amazing, and gives me some bargaining power in the kitchen.
sounds great
