Ultra PRO Photo and Scrapbook Album
I was recently given several Ultra-Pro photo and scrapbook albums to use and review.
Here is a list of what I received:
• 3-Ring Brown Photo and Scrapbook Album
• PRO Photo Album
• Ultra-Pro Assorted Photo Refills pack
• Ultra-Pro 4×6 Photo Refill Pages
Let me start by saying I loved the cover of the larger photo/scrapbook album. It is a sleek brown cover with a square on the front for my own cover photo! The book can hold up to 50 pages of inserts per their advertising, but you can store your CD or memory card with the pictures on the inside of the back cover. I think this would be great if you were giving someone a finished book of the best/favorite pictures but then also letting them have the originals too.
The inserts that came along in the package were great and I found myself using them for all sorts of storage in the book. One size was specifically for wallet prints (or coupons!), several held 35mm negatives, and other various photo or scrapbook size pages. These are all acid free and a very clear material that doesn’t interfere with the pictures beneath. The 4×6 pages also allowed for vertical and horizontal pictures/inserts, which was a blessing as my kids (and myself) are all shutterbugs.
The smaller photo book which will hold 96 4×6 pictures was great too for a portfolio for my daughter’s art. The book snaps closed which was a great feature and the inside binding allows for a smaller book, easily fitting into a backpack or purse.
These books have come in handy for not only school purposes but also for when we travel to see (older) family who may not feel comfortable keeping up with us online. This way I can send them a book of each child or family for them to keep!
I would definitely recommend Ultra-Pro to my friends and family and encourage them to see for themselves the different available products, from baseball cards to scrapbooking and coupon and photo binders!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
