Crockpot Chicken Soup
I don’t know about your schedule, but it seems that we are running behind several days a week. Being able to toss things in a crockpot in the morning and know that dinner is waiting is awesome! Chicken soup is one of our favorites. This recipe is so super easy and I love that it freezes well.
5 cups of chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup (Try our homemade cream soup mix)
1 onion, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
3 carrots, diced or handful of baby carrots
1 can whole kernel corn, drained (additional can of creamed corn optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 bag Egg noodles*
2 cups cooked or canned chicken, shredded
Mix all items in your slow cooker through seasonings
Cook on high for 3-4 hours, low for 5-6 hours
Stir in chicken and noodles about an hour before serving
*Rice is also great in this soup. Simply toss 2 cups in at the beginning with everything else.
